Ordering
I have been transitioning into what can be described as a "Custom Shop" model of running the business. That's going to mean "made to order"/pre-order transactions. In the past year, I have seen a big increase in demands of my current full-time work schedule, as well as time demands in family activities that have made it all but impossible to build and stock anything with any regularity.
I have, in the past, done large pre-orders, selfishly, to try and save on shipping from my suppliers.
I am abandoning that practice. From now on, Paypal payment buttons embedded in the product pages will allow a customer to pre-order any pedal they want at any time.
Lead Time
This transition means you'll have to suffer some amount of lead time.
My goal is 4-6 weeks, and I believe this is consistently achievable based on this new model.
I am, however, a one-man shop, so issues arise, I make mistakes in ordering, designing, etc. My promise is that you will never wait more than 8 weeks from ordering to shipping notice.
